Property Inspections
Inspection day is here!
Come meet one of our friendly leasing agents at the advertised time slots. Here are some helpful tips and FAQs to make the most of your rental inspection:
1. Can I take photos of the rental property?
Yes, but please be mindful if tenants still occupy the property. When taking photos or videos, avoid capturing personal items like family photos on the fridge or clothing in wardrobes. If the property is vacant, feel free to take as many photos or videos as you’d like!
2. Do I need to pre-register for viewing?
No need to pre-register. Our open homes are updated every Thursday. When you send an inquiry, you're added to our database. You will receive SMS or email notifications if any inspection times change and a list of open homes every Friday afternoon.
3. Can I book a private viewing?
Absolutely! We understand Saturday may not work for everyone, so we can accommodate private inspections when requested. Just reach out, and we’ll do our best to assist.
4. When should I arrive for the inspection?
Our inspections generally last 15–20 minutes, so we recommend arriving as close to the start time as possible as we must wrap up the inspection per the schedule to ensure our team can meet other scheduled appointments.
5. What if I can’t make it to the open home?
If you miss the open home, you can request another viewing, or our team can send a walkthrough video. Alternatively, a friend may attend on your behalf. You can let us know your request via email or text message to our leasing team.
6. I’m lost—who can I call?
These building complex gets bigger every year! If you are having trouble finding the property, our leasing team's contact details are listed on the advertising or you can call our central number on 0434 389 978. We will always have our signboards close by the property, look for that dark blue colour to find us!
What to look for during your Inspection
When deciding on your next home, it is always a good idea to do a thorough inspection while you are at the property, do ask our leasing team if you have anything you are not sure of. Some important things you should know about your properties are;
- Are there any facilities
- Are there any future works to be done or is the property is "As Is" during Inspection?
- What bills if any are included with the property
- Is the property pet friendly
- When is the property available to move in
- Take measurements or mental notes on how big the living room and bedrooms are, it helps with future planning!
Remember to ask us any questions you may have, our helpful leasing team is here to assist you and we are more than happy to help in any way we can from assisting with your move-in, utility connection, introduction of moving companies, lift booking and more!
I hope to see you at our next open home and welcome you as part of the Sydney Realty Group community!
